English professor Annie Sinclair gives a lecture on document authentication at a UFO conference to outmaneuver her department chair, who champions pop culture studies. What could go wrong? Annie and her music professor husband Charles (and their dog Asta) are drawn into a web of murder, secret documents, UFO enthusiasts, a mysterious government operative, some amateur burglary and a trip to Las Vegas’s fake Venice.

This second edition of Plan 9 for Murder has a bonus at the end, the short story “Meeting with Murder,” which tells how Annie and Charles met.
