Owerd the Briton

Life can be very tough for a dutiful young man in the 11th Century who is poor and without prospects or “connections”. Courage, determination and a capacity to endure hardship can maybe make the man. He is still learning to “know his station” when his country is invaded. Can courage and determination serve to aid fate and the help of a strong woman in transforming this man into a reputable knight outwardly loyal to his new king? Horrors, hardships and internal conflicts abound, as does loss, but Owerd will be a different man when he faces his ultimate challenge.
