The Crystal Lily

Coming from the Badlands of South Dakota, Peter, as a young man, settled on a life of living and working for the Circus. This was until, a chance meeting with a young girl from New Zealand, who changed his ambition. The paradise of New Zealand didn’t turn out the way Peter imagined. The incessant interference of Aroha’s past suiters got the best of him. He lost his temper, and the loneliness of the close-knit town of Tolaga Bay forced him to move to Auckland. There he became involved in a murder. Nobody believed him. Would he ever get to return to his homeland in South Dakota?

This is a book of Romance and Mystery, of a life lived, and life lost.
Terrific read.
Crystal Lilly is a wonderful read. The author manages to pull the reader into the story right from the start. It’s a love story but more than that, it is a story about human frailties and heartbreak. The Protagonist, Peter, is a complex but vulnerable character. The reader is taken on a journey from the United States to New Zealand, to “Down Under” and eventually returning to the United States. The author’s description is fantastic, you feel like you are there experiencing it all, just like Peter. The pace of the narrative is quick and holds the reader’s interest from beginning to end.
