Meet Tom! Tom is a clumsy but well-meaning cricket who manages to get himself in a jam whenever he attempts to help someone. Like the time he tried to renovate a kitchen and ended up gluing his friend to the ceiling (fortunately, a gang of leafcutter ants stepped in to help him out).
When a band of insects discovers that a mysterious illness has befallen the forest it is up to Tom to save them. With the help of his newly found travel companion, a feisty flea called Nick, he sets out into the wilderness to find a cure. Armed only with a map and some mushroom sandwiches, he faces hungry toads, scorpions and spiders. Will he be able to save the forest in time? Or is he in over his head? (Spoiler: he is in way over his head!)
