In a bizarre murder-suicide attempt, Singhal, a successful businessman suffering from cancer allegedly throws his wife from the terrace and also jumps. The wife dies, but he survives with mild fractures. Police are investigating the case, and Mr Singhal has been granted bail as there is no prima facie evidence of murder.
Singhal says he is innocent and has hired a detective.
